Lavender Lemonade

It is getting quite hot outside and so we need to stay hydrated! An all natural lemonade is my go to when it comes to summer drinks. This lavender lemonade is not only 100% organic but also thirst-quenching!!!

For the lemonade, I used fresh lavender from my grandmother’s garden, lemon juice and organic agave nectar.

Here is how you can make your very own lavender lemonade:

You will need:

  • 9 lavender sprigs
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 3-5 tablespoons of agave nectar (add to taste)
  • 200 ml boiling water
  • 1 500 ml cold water
  • ice for serving

  1. Steep the lavender flowers in boiling water for about an hour, then strain into a large jug
  2. Add lemon juice and agave nectar, give it a good stir
  3. Add water
  4. Serve on ice in pretty glasses with straws
Hint: Use additional sprigs of lavender for garnish to give your lemonade a fancy look 😉
